London 2012′s short film competition for young people opened for entries on the 23rd June 2010.
The interactive website where films can be uploaded, viewed and commented on went live at noon on 23 June at www.filmnation.org.uk
Log on to watch and vote for your favourite. Information on the first London 2012 workshops to share skills on making short films is also available.
The first round of Film Nation is now open for young people between the ages of 13 to 25, with prizes available for the film that gets the most votes each month by viewers.
The closing date for the first round of Film Nation: Shorts is 1st October 2010, with a star-studded red-carpet awards ceremony taking place in December 2010.
In 2012 the best films from the 2 year programme will win the chance to be shown in iconic sporting venues during the Games in 2012 as well as at high profile screenings around the country.
